In the Himalayas, outerwear forms an integral part of the daily uniform.
ABODE OF SNOW, referencing the English translation of “Himalaya,” was founded as a platform for the stories of the Himalayas, its people, and its rich culture, through modernizing traditional practices in the creation of contemporary outerwear. ABODE OF SNOW exists as an homage to all those with ancestry from the beautiful mountainous region.
Our products are made from 100% recycled materials, organic fabrics, and 100% recycled down and feathers.
ABODE OF SNOW combines the most important traditions of our Tibetan and Japanese heritages. Working with artisans in Japan and Nepal, using ethical, sustainable, and high-quality materials, we create designs that are constructed to last.
We support Cure Blindness, the Himalayan Cataract Project. Since 1995, the organization and its partners have performed more than one million eye surgeries to combat preventable blindness in underserved communities around the world.
